Creative
Tip: Create
quick Voiceovers in GarageBand 3.
GarageBand
is a fun part of Apple's iLife suite that sits untouched on most
designer's computers.
If
you've bought a new Macintosh recently, GarageBand 3 is sitting
quietly in your Applications folder waiting to be discovered.
Here
is a fun reason to open GarageBand up for the first time: Create
your own easy voiceovers for a personal music mix in iTunes. Great
for romantic CDs or holiday gifts for friends.
The
technique is fairly simple: Create a new Music Project in GarageBand
3. Import a song from your iTunes playlist. Add a new "real
instrument" track (Track > New Track) to record your voice
onto. Record a quick voiceover with a built-in mic or a separate
microphone. Adjust the volume on your music track. And finally
export the result back to iTunes (Share > Send song to iTunes).
Want
to make that even easier to understand? Watch the process live
