Tech Tip: Microsoft Office complaining about corrupt fonts?

Another great question from our Fonts & Mac OS X class earlier this month: "I'm unable to use PowerPoint, Word or Excel without it complaining that every font I own is corrupt and should be removed. Help!"

The font Gloucester MT Extra is corrupt and should be removed.

This annoyingly common problem is caused by corrupt font caches. An easy fix is to download a free utility named Font Finagler, and tell it to clear all the caches. This has worked like a charm on other machines.
