Currently we have three documents available from the SVC font class:

What Font Formats does Mac OS X Support?

What Fonts are installed by Mac OS X?

CreativeTechs' Minimum System Fonts.

We will also be putting up an additional document detailing the checklist CreativeTechs uses when performing a font tune-up. Check back next week for that change.

Clean Fonts = Stable Computers.

If you want a stable computer, you need clean fonts. At CreativeTechs, it sometimes seems that half our troubleshooting life is spent chasing down problems caused by bad fonts. Font problems can surface as all sorts of problems that would at first glance seem completely unrelated. For designers, font troubles can show up as memory errors, crashes, freezes, bombs, printing issues or many other odd problems.

Consistent Fonts = Production Teams.

Building an effective creative team environment depends on your designers being able to easily work together. That means getting your studio's font collection under control. When designers collaborate on projects, they need an organized font collection they can work from. When designers open existing files, they need the correct fonts to be ready without any extra hassles.
