The Team Approach to Great Mac Support

It takes a combination of talents to provide comprehensive Mac support for creative professionals. At CreativeTechs, we know that requires a team approach. One person can’t do it alone. Our team offers a depth of technical knowledge you won’t find anywhere else in the Pacific Northwest.

Craig Swanson
As our Company Founder, Craig brings a depth of experience built on over two decades supporting creative teams of all shapes and sizes. Clients draw on his expertise in a wide number of subjects: font management, backup and archiving, server strategies, workflow automation, stable design workstations, color management, and online marketing techniques. As the author and publisher of our weekly CreativeTechs Tips newsletter, Craig helps broadcast our real-world experience to a wide audience of creative professionals around the world.

Ellis Jordan Bojar
As our Lead Enterprise Engineer, Jordan helps large agencies and corporate clients keep their Mac IT needs under control. He's worked as a Unix systems administrator, a comic book publisher, and technical lead at Font Bureau –– a mix that provides unique insight into supporting large creative organizations. Jordan is an Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA) and writes Make Mac Work, CreativeTechs' weekly blog on Macintosh issues in large business.

Kyle Pauley
Kyle has worked with some of CreativeTechs’ clients so long, he's become a permanent part of their team. If there’s one consultant who typifies the Seattle Mac experience, it's Kyle. He started his career troubleshooting PageMaker at Aldus (in the pre-Adobe days). He supported 80 Mac-based designers at Nordstrom advertising. And over the last 8 years at CreativeTechs he's helped literally hundreds of creative teams in the Pacific Northwest.

Jasson Lewellen
Jasson provides regular weekly Mac IT maintenance for some of Seattle's largest creative agencies. Whatever clients throw at him on a given day, he works hard to keep people happy. Whether it’s making sure backups run like clockwork, performing email migrations, or simply answering a user’s question, Jasson is in high demand wherever he goes. By the way, Jasson isn't merely a guy who looks like the PEMCO Ponytailed Software Geek — he is the actual model.

Jason Hoppe
Jason is our expert Adobe trainer. Each month he writes and delivers new Workshops and Webinars for designers in Seattle, and now around the globe. Jason Hoppe has spent the last 15 years teaching prepress and electronic design to thousands of Seattle creative professionals at Seattle's School of Visual Concepts and the Art Institute of Seattle. As a production specialist, Jason spent 8 years as Director of Electronic Production for one of the big Seattle ad agencies and design firms.

David Ingersoll
David is our first line of contact for clients new and old. He's the voice of reassurance when clients need help, and he’s the glue that keeps our team together. There are fast paced moments when he’s answering three calls at once, and fielding emails. And there are recuperative Zen moments, where David can slow down and catch up on paperwork, or observe traffic on Aurora through the office windows. Which David says is kind of like watching fast, noisy goldfish.

Melody Gowen
Attending to the business and taking care of people is Melody’s forte at CreativeTechs. She started back in 1996, when it was still called Swanson Tech Support. She did everything— handled the mail, dealt with insurance companies, etc. Her role grew as the company grew. Today she manages the HR functions and other business logistics. The fact that she’s not technical gives her a balanced perspective in helping the people she works with and the people that she hires.

Tracy Heffelfinger
If there’s a theme to Tracy’s work, it’s all about order. As the CreativeTechs bookkeeper, she’s the detail fanatic, overseeing all the accounting functions and keeping the books straight. Methodical, process oriented and highly organized, she’s fabulous with numbers and file management, and loves everything in its place. Tracy is warm and outgoing, and her personality draws people in. As a self-ascribed recreational baker, she keeps the CreativeTechs team plied with delectable weekly treats.
